Admissions/Enrollment Manager Job 2024 Full Time

SUMMARY

Reports To: Executive Director of Enrollment

Responsibilities include representing VCFA to prospective students, guiding them through the application process, and managing digital recruitment communications and events via Slate CRM from inquiry through deposit.
The Enrollment Manager exhibits superior customer service and sales skills, and professionalism throughout daily interactions and communications with prospective students, staff, faculty, alumnx, and external constituents. The EM is a key contributor to VCFAs broad enrollment management initiatives and must demonstrate an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the colleges admissions, marketing, academic, and institutional advancement teams.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment

• Primary front-line recruiter for VCFAs six academic programs, primarily via email, phone, and video meetings. Limited travel as needed.
• Leads regular virtual information sessions as needed
• Provides on-the-ground (in-person) recruitment support during residency for 12 days twice a year.

Enrollment & CRM Management

• Provides broad support for admissions application processing and troubleshooting in Slate CRM
• Under the guidance of the Ex. Director of Admissions and in collaboration with the Associate Directors of Admissions, develops and manages email communication campaigns for prospective students, applicants, and admitted students across all programs.
• Under the guidance of the Ex. Director of Admissions, manages infrastructure and communications around recruitment events (information sessions, financial aid sessions, virtual admit days, etc.) via Slate CRM.
• Collaborates with VCFA staff across departments to create content for recruitment digital communications/initiatives that is cohesive with broader college campaigns; professional development events, alumnx and faculty stories, features of student work, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities and a capacity for self-starting and working independently
• Strong technology orientation; experience with CRM/database systems, ideally Slate, and digital communication design
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the capacity to meet frequent deadlines
• Demonstrated aptitude for exceptional customer service and sales work
• An appreciation for, interest in, and curiosity about the arts and arts education
• Bachelors degree or comparable experience in higher education, admissions, or sales
• The position requires travel to residency in California twice a year
• A minimum of 3 years experience in the CRM Slate
• Experience in a customer service industry; ideally admissions department
• Familiarity with the arts; a general knowledge of the language
