Ambulatory Analyst (Remote) Job 2024 Full Time

Qualifications

• Candidates for this role must posse an active EpicCare Ambulatory certification
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years of Ambulatory Analyst experience required
• At least one Epic Implementation Experience preferred
• Additional active Epic certifications preferred

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plans, analyzes, designs, implements, tests and maintains Epic ambulatory application.
• Understanding of how the ambulatory departments interacts operationally with other areas of the organization, such as ordering physicians, the billing office, and medical records.
• Coordinates implementation, analysis and testing, maintenance and upgrades, application design, and debugging of complex workflows with multiple modules.
• Familiarity with ambulatory workflows.
• Proactively evaluate technical enhancements and consults with business to provide solutions to technical or process issues, guiding to best practices.
• Utilize deep understanding of the technical components of modules to maintain system integrity.
• Participates in projects as subject matter expert for applications/modules.
• Ability to assist in identifying areas where perioperative processes could be improved.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Epic-Certified: Must be Epic certified in Epic Ambulatory
• Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, health science, computer science, information systems, healthcare informatics, or a closely related field.
• Required: experience with at least one new Epic implementation
• Years of related experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirement.

Experience:

• Preferred Experience: active team member in at least one implementation of Epic Ambulatory.
• Operational Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a clinical or operational area directly impacted by Epic implementation.

Travel Required: Up to 30% travel required

Physical Nature of the Job: Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally in carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling objects. Sitting most of the time, with walking and standing required only occasionally.
