Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects across various functional areas
• Provides knowledge in areas including project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation, and other areas of expertise based on established project management techniques
• Makes presentations to management on project updates, project cycle, and expected results
• Ensures projects are completed on time and in scope
• May manage vendor and service providers to define project scope and performance expectations
• Schedule and coordinate project meetings, both internal and external
• Coordinate completion of project activities assigned to internal and external resources, including follow up and escalating to the Project Manager when necessary
• Assist with monitoring and managing assigned project activities in accordance with approved work plan
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion
• Plan, organize and lead cross-functional internal business projects
• Participate in project postmortems and create a project evaluation report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
• All other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2+ years of experience in a Project Management role
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• 1+ years of experience with Visio, SharePoint, and MS Project

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) or equivalent work experience
• Working towards PMP
• Experience in Healthcare, Fintech
• Experience with working with vendors
• Proven solid organizational skills including attention to details, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
• Demonstrated ability to build strong work relationships
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated ability to grasp technical processes quickly
• Proven solid written and verbal communication skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
