We are seeking a new Bartender/ Server to join our team. Your role will be to complete all front of house duties for the dining room and 1884 lounge, as well as all bartending functions throughout service. You will be expected to model Eastcastle Place values, standards, and professionalism to a high degree at all times as well as participate in the training and development of all Hospitality associates with the goal of facilitating service excellence. As a member of the Hospitality department, you will work with servers, lead server, cooks, and dishwashers and report to our Front of House Manager and Director of Hospitality
What You Will Do:
- Serve lunch and dinner meals
- Make cocktails and manager service bar
- Provide great hospitality service and correctly and efficiently serve residents, employee or guests in designated sections and assist teammates as needed.
- Take orders, provide service and requested items graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
- Complete all daily prep, side work, and closing tasks
- Complete all bar stocking and product rotation
- Facilitate a high level of professionalism and customer service for our residents and their guests
- Assist in Hospitality functions; such as setting tables, serving, bussing, seating residents, etc
- Assists with all cleaning tasks.
- Be knowledgeable of all current menus and dining policies and demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate said knowledge to all residents.
What You Will Bring:
Our ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of serving and bartending experience and the following credentials/skills:
- High School or GED
- Bartending license preferred
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Communication skills
- Teamwork
- Strong work ethic
- Empathy and Compassion
- Passion and Leadership skills
- Willingness to learn
- Active listening skills
