Beverage Server – On Call (Harrah’s Laughlin) Job 2024 Part Time

Role model our service behaviors supporting excellent service. Deliver beverages to all patrons in a timely and friendly manner according to our Team Beverage guidelines. At times the server will work independently taking orders from the guests, placing them with the bartender then delivering. When we are in “Team Beverage” mode, the server will only deliver drinks as the orders come into the Service Well.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS : Must be upbeat and positive and have a friendly and outgoing personality; work in a fast paced high volume work environment; meet professional appearance standards; meet twenty minute round time standards; greet guests using the 5-10 rule according to established service standards; ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests, co-workers and management; read, write and understand English; demonstrate the willingness to be a team player; monitor consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to the guidelines; carry a full tray of drinks on a continuous basis throughout the shift; learn tray service and cocktail ingredients; recognize and check for identification on any guest that appears to be under the age of 30.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: 2 years’ experience, Heath card, Alcohol Awareness Card

PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS: Lift up to 25 lbs. Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and hear. Dexterity to utilize tools. Walk entire shift. Stand for long periods of time or entire shift. Walk up and down stairs. Work in hot temperatures. Work in cold temperatures. Work in Secondhand smoke environment. Maneuver in confined spaces. Accurate Money/chip handling. Tolerate high noise areas. Tolerate bright lights. Will have guest contact. Work flexible schedules. Work in outdoor weather conditions (hot/cold). Understand, read, write and speak English.
