The Buyer 2 will purchase commodities and services in a specialized procurement activity. Incumbent assigned to this area is responsible for printing, goods, software, commodities, and services required for use by the Lottery; for renewal of all existing contracts and prepares solicitation requests, ensures that the terms of the contract are met, and provides assistance with contract administration functions.
Duties Include:
To facilitate proper credit, your resume must clearly describe your experience and skills in the areas listed below and indicate the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.
One (1) year of professional level experience OR three (3) years technical/administrative experience in purchasing, developing/evaluating purchase request specifications, soliciting quote/bid requests, reviewing/evaluating solicitation responses, and issuing purchase orders and contracts in a governmental or business environment.
** NOTE: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field may be substituted for one year of experience or a related Associate’s substitute for six months.
