This position is part of the Logistics Americas team, and is responsible for managing and implementing appropriate inventory levels by SKU utilizing various planning tools.

The candidate we seek will be responsible for:

• Maintain appropriate values for MRP planning parameters on components required for product support. Review MRP action messages and take action needed to create/reschedule replenishment orders to address demand and supply imbalances.
• Procure products in accordance with planning procedures through successful completion of purchase requisitions.
• Monitor and reconcile procurement orders ensuring accurate and timely transactions.
• Effectively expedite materials by leveraging established customer/supplier relationships.
• Develop plans to achieve maximum inventory turn levels, fill rates and meet goals for Working Capital.
• Supply internal customers with shipping dates for critical and emergency requirements in addition to providing part availability for back-ordered items upon request. Coordinate and communicate “urgent” order priorities to both suppliers and internal customers.
• Process discrepant material, either by deviation or returning goods to the vendor for immediate turnaround. Ensure that appropriate personnel are aware of the defects and appropriate actions taken to correct problems on future shipments. Act as the liaison communicating directly with the supplier.
• Work with suppliers to resolve any invoicing discrepancies.
• Work with Logistics personnel and 3PL provider to assist in timely in-bound shipment processing.
• Participate and promote adherence to established ISO procedures.
• Maintain awareness in supply chain management “best practices”. Actively participate in procurement professional organizations (ISM / APICS) and pursue opportunities for continuous professional development.

The candidate we seek is required to have:

• Bachelors’ or Associates Degree, preferably in a business discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• A minimum of 3 years Planning experience.
• ISM or APICS Certification desired.
• Proficient in ERP, MRP systems (SAP preferable).
• Excellent analytical skills and strong decision-making skills
• Able to work independently, and collaborate with and act as a liaison with other departments
• Strong oral and written communication skills, and problem-solver who possesses a keen attention to detail
• Must be able to respond to inquiries and communicate with others in writing and via all appropriate modes of communication.
• Must be able to decipher and manipulate data involving computer-generated reports, software programs, manual and written correspondence.
• Must be able to comply with all supplier requirements when at a supplier’s work site, including, but not limited to wearing personal protective equipment, passing requested drug/alcohol screenings, etc.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point

The base salary for the position is a minimum of $66,000 and max of $76,054 plus 8% annual bonus
