GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The Claims Coordinator supports the claim department in a variety of ways, such as assigning claims, maintaining financial records, assisting with regulatory claim reporting requirements, and overseeing document management. The Claims Coordinator will report to the Claims Support Team Lead.
DUTIES: Duties are not limited to the below and will expand over time.
Assign and track all claims Provision new users in system as well as update user’s profiles as request by managers Add & track financial authority of those applicable users Assist in creation of payments requests and track payments Electronic document filing and email distribution Create and distribute policy loss runs Maintain contact information Create, maintain, and distribute numerous weekly, biweekly, and monthly claims reports
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Advanced Excel skills, including ability to create formulas, pivot tables and manipulate data in spreadsheets
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while meeting assigned deadlines
- Excellent administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Analytical/quantitative skills and attention to detail are essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to speak and write knowledgably with internal and external clients and prepare comprehensive, concise and grammatically correct reports with little guidance
- Proficient in MS Word and Adobe
EDUCATION:
- College degree or college level education preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 2 years of office experience preferred.

In accordance with pay transparency laws and regulations, the following good faith compensation range estimate is being provided. The salary range for this position is $50-60k per year. Final compensation will be based on candidate qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
