Step into this vital role supporting NYP’s initiative to enhance our robust Compliance and Privacy Program throughout the NYP system. You will be a part of a team that implements processes, reviews policies and increases awareness of Compliance and Patient Privacy Rights.
Hospital Billing Compliance Coordinator
In this role you will be responsible for the hospital billing coding compliance life cycle throughout the NYP health system. This includes timely inpatient and outpatient hospital audits to ensure compliance with laws and regulations and documentation, coding, charging, and billing procedures, and standards. Also, you will be responsible for assessing areas of hospital billing compliance risk, emerging regulations and educating hospital billing providers, departments, and key stakeholders involved in hospital charging and billing through the enterprise regarding identified documentation, coding, charging, and billing deficiencies and changes in regulations. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with key stakeholders involved in the provision, documentation, charging, coding, and/or billing of inpatient and outpatient hospital services to maintain compliance with Medicare and Medicaid regulations. Serve as a resource for hospital billing compliance questions. You will maintain expert knowledge of CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10 guidelines across multiple specialties.

Salary Range:
$82,500-$114,000/Annual
