Contracts Specialist, DOD CFCM or FAC-C Job 2024 Full Time

We are seeking a Contract Specialist, DoD for this remote position. Are you a Certified Federal Contract Manager or have you DAU/DAWIA Contracting Level III certification? • Apply valuable knowledge of DoD federal acquisition regulations, procurement, ethics and government property restrictions.
• Understand the procurement process, from requisition to contract enforcement.
• Draft competitive proposals that can win business for a government contractor.
• Prepare various contractual documents for approval by the Government.
• Ensure all documentation and requirements are completed to support any internal Government review and approval processes.
• Self-monitor progress according to the schedule of completion to submit drafts and documents in a timely manner.
• Assist with the development and review of documentation associated with various contract administration efforts, including Statements of Work/Statement of Objectives/Performance Work Statements.
• Provide program strategy development, contract planning, documentation development, contract administration, and requirement/proposal reviews.
• Utilize local web portals to track and organize program and contractual documentation.
• Assist with the validation and review of the contract documentation and deliverables submitted by the contract holders to ensure they are submitting correct, accurate, and up-to-date documentation in accordance with contractual requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree and ten (10) years of experience providing DoD contracting support and management.
• CFCM, or DAWIA Contracting Level III certification requires or its equivalent such as the FAC-C. (Certified Federal Contracts Manager; Federal Acquisition Certification-Contracting).
• Must exhibits qualities of cooperation, adaptability and flexibility as changes occur in the department and maintains a positive attitude.
• Active Secret or Top Secret strongly preferred; US Citizenship is required and will consider candidates eligible for a Secret clearance.
• Good organization skills and the ability to multitask on several projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work core hours are in accordance with the core Command hours from Monday through Friday.
