Country Manager and Sales Leader – UAE Job 2024 Full Time

Job Description:

The Country Manager & Sales Leader will be responsible for the strategic leadership and operational management of our UAE office. This role will oversee all aspects of business operations, including sales strategy, market development, team management, and client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership and country management within the UAE, with strong business acumen and exceptional leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement the country-specific business strategy in alignment with the company’s overall objectives.
• Identify and evaluate market opportunities, trends, and risks to drive growth and profitability.
• Formulate and execute strategic plans to achieve business goals and enhance market presence.

2. Sales Management:

• Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Develop and execute sales strategies, including market segmentation, pricing, and promotional tactics.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

3. Operations Management:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the UAE office, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources.
• Manage P&L for the UAE operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.

4. Team Leadership:

• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and support to team members.
• Promote collaboration and communication across departments and with the headquarters team.

5. Market Development:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competitive landscape.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a senior management role, with a focus on sales and operations in the UAE market.
• Proven track record of successful sales leadership, including managing a sales team and driving revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of the UAE business environment, including local regulations, market dynamics, and cultural nuances.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
