As a Data Analyst, you will be a part of Behavioral Health’s Technical Services team. You will serve as the primary data analyst for the ND State Hospital, providing data analytics, modeling, and visualization to support clinical and business operations. You will serve as a technical resource working alongside quality management and informatics staff to respond to complex data requests and maintain data quality.

You will also become an expert in the State Hospital’s Electronic Healthcare Record data, with the ability to write complex queries and create dashboards that take a deep dive into answering hard questions. You will use your passion for data and technology to automate manual processes and provide transparency into the hospital’s data.
You will be the technical professional that understands the hospital’s data extracts for federal and accreditation reporting, including data mapping, reporting specifications, and the impact of system changes. Whether responding to internal or external requests, you will maintain an end-to-end understanding of where data sources from, how to extract it, and how to aggregate the metrics needed.
To be considered for this position, you must have a bachelor’s degree and three years of experience in a data analysis role. Additional work experience as described may substitute for up to two years of the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
