LOCATION: Remote or Hybrid (Montgomery Park, SW Portland)
PAY: Target pay for this role is $45-60 per hour but may vary based on experience
ENGAGEMENT TYPE: Contract (2-3 months)
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
We are seeking a skilled Database/BI Report Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting business reports using SQL, PowerBI, and Azure-based technologies. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, optimizing database performance and creating actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop business reports using SQL (views, tables, stored procedures)
- Develop and maintain data visualizations in PowerBI
- Work with business stakeholders to ensure their reporting needs are met
- Collaborate with the IT team to optimize database performance
- Analyze and summarize business trends using various data sources
- Maintain and update existing reports
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL and PowerBI, with a familiarity with Microsoft Azure. You’ll thrive in a dynamic environment, working with cross-departmental teams, and contributing to key decision-making processes.
Must-Haves:
- Strong experience with SQL (views, tables, stored procedures)
- Experience with Microsoft PowerBI
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with Azure Databricks
- Experience with SQL SSRS Reporting
- Experience collaborating across departments like accounting, engineering, and sales
