Eligibility Lead Coordinator – Remote Job 2024 Full Time

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for all functions related to membership including updates and edits to the data, verification of eligibility, as well as membership and group reconciliations. Interacts daily with internal and external customers to solve members’ issues and concerns which requires detailed and professional documentation in various systems and/or enrollment files. The lead is also responsible for handling escalations from the Eligibility staff and assisting the supervisor with administrative duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Others may be assigned.

• Communicating and collaborating with various health plans to check accuracy of member’s eligibility.
• Responsible for processing and verifying claims requests in a timely manner.
• Responsible for adding new members in the system and member termination and retro terminations. Ensure that member’s termination dates are in the system.
• Processing of authorization request from UM department.
• Process Customer Service Incident Reports.
• Coordinating and tracking E-list workflow from Eligibility Staff and ensuring that the Elist is worked and returned within the allotted time frame.

• Experience in detecting eligibility discrepancies.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3 year of experience processing managed health care claims preferred.

Compensation and Benefit Information

Compensation

• Pay: $15.80-$23.70 per hour. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
• Position may be eligible for a signing bonus for qualified new hires, subject to employment status.
• Conifer observed holidays receive time and a half.
