Job Summary
This position is responsible to create, engineer, and maintain cutting-edge endpoint solutions. This position will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security, efficiency, and optimal performance of our organization’s endpoint infrastructure.
Job duties include:
- Engineer, administer, and maintain Endpoint Enterprise technologies, primarily Microsoft Configuration Manager, Intune, Adaptiva, etc.
- Identify and participate in formal and informal projects defined and assigned within the Endpoint Infrastructure & Reporting Systems team.
- Provide expertise and support related to other technology efforts such as Active Directory design and management, Group Policy administration, network architecture, anti-malware administration, and others.
This position is currently eligible for full-time telework:
- Telework for Minnesota IT Services allows an employee to perform work from a telework location and an employee may be required to be in the office based on business needs and other dependencies in St. Paul, Minnesota.
- Only candidates located in Minnesota and bordering states (Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin) are telework eligible.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

Position requires a minimum of four (4) years of IT related experience designing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM/MECM).
Experience must include:
- Experience and ability to design, configure and support Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM/MECM), Intune and Windows operating systems.
- Experience and understanding of Microsoft Active Directory administration or administration of other operating systems or enterprise-wide software.
- Experience and ability to develop testing methodologies and develop, implement, and document test plans.
- Ability to deliver effective verbal or written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding on both parties.
- Customer service skills that include active listening, empathy, and problem-solving.
A master’s degree in Information Technology or an IT related field substitutes for three (3) years of experience, OR an IT related bachelor’s degree substitutes for two (2) years, OR an IT related associate’s degree substitutes for one (1) year.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using PowerShell, PowerBI, and other reporting and automation services.
- Experience with Apple infrastructure technologies supporting: macOS, iOS and iPadOS.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Server design and configuration.
- Excellent problem solving and technical troubleshooting skillsets.
- Ability to assess and document risk for new technologies.
