Human Resources Manager Job 2024 Full Time

As the Human Resources Manager at True Nature Environmental Restoration Foundation (TNERF), you will be responsible for managing all HR functions within our nonprofit organization. This role involves overseeing recruitment, employee relations, and the development and implementation of HR policies. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with labor laws, addressing employee concerns, and fostering a positive and supportive work environment. Your contributions will directly impact the growth and sustainability of TNERF’s mission to restore and preserve the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new team members.

• Develop and enforce HR policies that align with organizational values and legal requirements.

• Address employee relations issues and provide support to foster a positive work environment.

• Ensure compliance with labor laws and nonprofit regulations.

• Support organizational development by promoting a culture of collaboration and inclusivity.

Qualifications:

• A strong interest in environmental conservation and a passion for nonprofit work.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to manage HR functions effectively in a small nonprofit setting.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Previous experience in HR or management is a plus but not required.

REQUIRED:

• Must be a current high school student in the Bay Area as this is a youth non-profit organization

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
