The part-time position is remote with the following schedule:
If hired, training with daytime NH DCYF Intake staff is required for a minimum of 10 business days or the equivalent of 80 hours. Training must be completed on weekdays (Monday – Friday) between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:30 PM. Training must be contiguous enough to maintain retention of previous training topics covered and does not need to be completed in 10 days back-to-back.
All work including the 10 days of training with NH DCYF daytime staff is fully remote and a laptop and phone will be provided by the employer, The Home for Little Wanderers.
How You’ll be Making a Difference
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the After-Hours Call Screener receives, documents and screens reports of child abuse and neglect in accordance with NH DCYF policy and procedure. The Call Screener works closely with the Shift Supervisor to determine if an immediate response by NH DCYF on-call staff is necessary.
