Position Summary
Ensure prompt and efficient service for Orion Lending’s internal staff as well as ourapproved broker clientele in ensuring quality loan submissions into the underwriting team.
Responsibilities
- Receive and log loan submissions
- Input loan submission into the Orion Lending loan system
- Review submission for completeness
- Review submission to ensure it meets Orion Lending compliance policy. (TILA, RESPA, MDIA,QM, and minimum submission requirements)
- Contact broker or account manager regarding documents necessary to complete file.
- Register and issue initial loan disclosures.
- For denied files, perform those functions per Company policy as directed
- Adherence to the designated procedures and policies
Required Skills
- One year of experience in mortgage banking preferred; experience in an office environment
- required
- Excellent telephone and communication skills
- High school degree of GED
- Computer literacy required
Physical and Work Conditions
Physical and Work Conditions Standard office environment, equipment, and tasks, including work at a computer terminal. This position requires partial sitting and walking throughout the day. Employees must be open to working overtime to complete assigned tasks.
