Mental Health Therapist Job 2024 Full Time

Job Title: Fully Licensed, Full-Time Therapist

Organization: Dream Big Wellness, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing accessible mental health services to individuals in need.

Position Type: Full-time (30 hours per week, not to exceed 40 hours per week), with the opportunity to work additional sessions if desired. This position is as a W2 employee.

Location: Remote, with the option to provide own in-person space (cost not covered). Dream Big Wellness also has an in-person office located in Edmonds, with limited availability for use at this time. Future space may be available with the evolution and growth of the organization.

Compensation: $33-$35 per hour depending on experience. Payment includes your clinical session time and one hour of clinical admin time, totaling $66-$70 per session. For sessions conducted through the Pay It Forward Program, clinicians will still receive their regular pay for one hour of clinical session time and one hour of clinical admin time per session. Sessions are supplemented by philanthropic funding. Please note, cancellations and uncharged missed sessions will result in no-payment for the clinician.

• The Pay It Forward Program enables clients of different economic backgrounds to access private pay therapy.
• Sage Program: Sessions start at $10-$29 for twelve sessions.
• Teal Program: Sliding scale of $30-$99 for twenty-four sessions for qualifying individuals.
• Clinicians at Dream Big Wellness play a vital role in reducing barriers to accessing mental health care and will still receive their regular pay for participating in these sessions.

Requirements:

• Must be fully licensed with an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW
• Familiarity with ethical guidelines of WAC/RCW codes, governing body, and Dream Big Wellness’s employee guidelines/handbook
• Self-motivated, good communicator, dependable
• Willing to panel with insurances
• Positive interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Align with Dream Big Wellness’s nonprofit mission and values:
• Act as a professional representative of Dream Big Wellness

Preferred Qualifications:

• Registered Art Therapist: ATCB Art Therapy Registration (ATR-P, ATR, ATR-BC)
• Experience working with clients experiencing cancer, and/or chronic illness/pain

Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy sessions to clients (minimum of fifteen sessions per week)
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records
• Maintain relevant personal bio
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of practice per governing body of license and WAC/RCW standards
• Maintain Continuing Education Needs
• Maintain and Report Licensing/Certification/Registration
• Collaborate with the Dream Big Wellness Team for ongoing support and development
• Billing of private pay clients
• All notes and session confirmations completed by the end of the week
• Participate in monthly consult meetings
• Assist in credentialing with insurance companies
• Optional: Participate in international and local retreats
• Optional: Run and Design Dream Big Wellness Approved Groups (Virtually or in person based on your preference)
