National Training Director Job 2024 Full Time

Southern Steer Butcher Franchising is a leading butcher shop concept committed to delivering the highest quality meats and exceptional customer service. We are now seeking a passionate and experienced National Training Director to lead our training initiatives across all locations.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The National Training Director will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training programs for our butcher shop teams across the country. This role will ensure that all employees, from entry-level butchers to management and franchisees, are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and standards necessary to uphold our company’s commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of butchery, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in training and development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Training Program Development

• Design, develop, and implement training programs for all levels of employees, focusing on butchery skills, food safety, customer service, and company procedures.
• Ensure consistency in training content and delivery across all locations to maintain uniform quality and service standards.
• Lead a team of regional trainers and collaborate with store managers to identify training needs and implement solutions.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as needed, and report on training outcomes and improvements.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in butchery techniques to continuously enhance training materials
• Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they receive comprehensive training to succeed in their roles.
• Ensure all training programs meet federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, particularly in areas of food safety and employee health.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in a senior training role, ideally within the food, hospitality, or retail industries. –
• Extensive knowledge of butchery techniques, meat processing, and food safety standards.
• Strong leadership and team management skills. –
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. –
• Ability to travel nationally up to 50% of the time. –
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and digital training tools is a plus. –
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
