About this Role:
This position will perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties and support services routinely required in the Procurement and Contracting Division which require the ability to communicate effectively, make quick and accurate evaluations of situations and take effective action. These duties include: Reception, Attendance Coordinator, Mail Operations, Office Monitoring and Invoicing, and Records Management.

The Procurement and Contracting Division (PCD) provides an array of contract services to DHCS programs including, but not limited to: the development and maintenance of models, forms, user guides and exhibits; assisting with all steps of contract planning including resolving contracting out issues; providing advice on competitive bidding issues including available bidding options; providing technical assistance during the contract development phase; reviewing and approving contracts, and acting as liaison with control agencies; and maintaining all Department contract files.
