The Opportunity
The KonTerra Resilience Workplace Activity (WPA) Specialist is a pivotal member of the Staff Care and Resilience Operations Team at KonTerra. This role involves providing high-quality operational support, spearheading the implementation and delivery of KonTerra’s organizational resilience and training services, and enhancing existing policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include managing the operational aspects of both in-person and virtual psychosocial and psychoeducational training sessions, group services, and organizational resilience engagements and assessments. This cross-functional role entails collaboration with the Business Development, Account Management, and Organizational Resilience and Training Services Teams; liaising with KonTerra’s global network of professional consultants;, and compiling utilization and evaluation data for WPA services.
What You’ll Do
- As part of the SCR Operations Team, maintain and document implementation procedures.
- Track all WPAs and maintain a calendar of scheduled engagements.
- Maintain up-to-date electronic files, templates, and resources.
- Communicate and coordinate with KonTerra’s Business Development, Account Management, and/or the Organizational Resilience and Training teams to ensure the successful implementation of Workplace Activities.
- Compile client utilization and evaluation data.
- Assist in the coordination of critical incident responses.
- Lead communications and coordinate assignments with KonTerra’s network of professional roster for Workplace Activities (WPAs).
- Ensure roster members are well-equipped and prepared to deliver organizational client engagements, including logistics, technology setup and troubleshooting, and content support.
- Liaise with the Operations Assistant to ensure the completion of materials for WPA service delivery (e.g., flyers, educational resources).
Support the review, edit, and formatting of client organization assessments and reports.
The Skills and Experience You’ll Need
- Two to four years of experience of relevant experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in a professional context.
- Expertise in using Google platforms and virtual platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven problem-solving agility and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as an effective team member.
- Ability to work US East Coast business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with an international NGO or in the humanitarian or development sectors
- Prior experience using Salesforce
- Previous experience working virtually/remotely
- Associates degree or higher
Ability to operate professionally in a language in addition to English. Spanish, French, or Arabic are highly preferred
What We Offer
The pay range for this role allows for the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. At KonTerra, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for the duration of the employment agreement is $27,000 to $33,000. The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including location, internal equity and the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience.
