JOB SUMMARY
The Patient Services Coordinator is responsible for building, maintaining and assisting with the design of Community Health Center, Inc. (CHCI’s) provider scheduling templates. The PSC will ensure CHC’s provider templates are built in accordance with CHCI’S template guidelines, and raise concerns to his/her manager. In addition, the Patient Services Coordinator is responsible for the timely and efficient processing of behavioral health authorizations. The PSC will actively manage and take ownership of all assigned tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion as expected by the agency. The PSC will consistently demonstrate efforts to maintain and improve job specific competencies. The PSC may also take patient calls, or perform other tasks, as assigned by his/her manager or the VP of Practice Administration.
