As the People Capability Leader, you’ll be the secret ingredient behind the success of our restaurant management teams. By partnering closely with Operations, you’ll lead and oversee the management training programs and bench planning for company-owned restaurants, ensuring our Shift Leaders, AUMs, and RGMs have the skills to fry up success! Your role will also extend to the oversight of our Area Training Restaurants, helping to shape the future leaders of KFC.

What You’ll Serve Up:

• Ensure solid bench plans for Shift Leaders, AUMs, and RGMs in partnership with Operations.
• Influence ARLs on identifying highly promotable team members and guiding them through proper training processes.
• Oversee the completion and integrity of eLearning programs for team members, working hand-in-hand with Operations.
• Partner with Operations to roll out training for new products and additional restaurant-level initiatives in assigned markets.
• Area Training Manager (ATM) Ownership: Identify, certify, and support ATMs, ensuring top-tier training standards.
  • Take action when ATMs aren’t performing, collaborating with P&C Business Partners and Operations to adjust or align on new paths.
• Market Training: Coach ARLs, ATMs, RGMs, and AUMs on training, focusing on engagement and reducing turnover risk.
  • Ensure proper execution of training plans for all new hires.
• Coordinate and lead ATM & ARL meetings each period.
• New Restaurant Openings (NRO): Assist ARLs and RGMs with training team members, supporting them post-launch to ensure long-term success.
• Conduct training classes on operational and P&C objectives as needed.

The Ingredients You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 3-5 years of experience in HR, training, and operations.
• Certified subject-matter-expert (SME) in operational standards, processes, and systems.
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills for both virtual and in-person environments.
  • Proven ability to facilitate and manage leadership and operations content.
• Ability to collaborate, coach, influence, and inspire at all levels of the organization.
• Project management skills with an emphasis on organization, time management, and multi-tasking.
• Proactive and results-driven, with a passion for leading KFC’s culture through recognition and development.
• Restaurant operations knowledge, including an understanding of restaurant information systems, is a plus.
