Project Analyst Job 2024 Full Time

Position Overview:

The Continuous Improvement Team is seeking a highly organized and analytical individual to join our team as a Project Analyst within the OSS department. The Project Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting a network of distribution centers by coordinating, monitoring, and driving improvement initiatives. These initiatives will be achieved by collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, develop and implement solutions, and monitor project outcomes to ensure they meet the organization’s objectives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational, and data analytics skills, along with attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess incoming requests and projects to determine scope, priority, feasibility, and return on investment (ROI)
• Determine criteria for project success, identify and communicate clear project-specific goals, action items, and phases, and assist in developing comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of all tasks through appropriate follow-up with stakeholders when necessary
• Thoroughly test and vet out potential project solutions
• Collect and analyze large data sets to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas of improvement, while generating reports and dashboards to monitor project progress.
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop solutions to optimize workflows and enhance operational efficiency
• Analyze and develop ROIs based off current and future data
• Develop data visualizations to monitor KPIs using different tools such as, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel
• Field any relevant email inquiries through the OSS team inbox MS Team Channels
• Complete other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned

Experience/Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of relevant work experience
• Proven experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, and change management
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and different departments to achieve common goals
• Ability to facilitate discussions, gather feedback, and guide teams toward identifying improvement opportunities
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Office 365 is required
• Education and/or experience in Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Six Sigma and Computer Science is a plus
• Working knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Six Sigma, PMI and/or Scrum is a plus
• Ability to adjust to changing project requirements and priorities
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely
• Occasional overnight travel will be required up to 25%

Remote work qualifications

• Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.
• Access to a home router and modem.
• A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).

• The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.
