Reimbursement Technician *REMOTE POSITIONS AVAILABLE* Job 2024 Full Time

Richmond Behavioral Health is hiring professional and detail oriented Reimbursement Technicians to join our team of Life Changers . This position will perform intermediate administrative support work performing financial intake, updating financials, verifying insurance, assisting with client financial and insurance issues, assisting Case Managers with insurance issues regarding their client, applying payments to client accounts, performing customer service duties, Behavioral Claim submission & Follow-up, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work performed under the limited supervision of the Billing Coordinator and Reimbursement Manager.

Essential Functions

Interviews clients for financial intake; updates financial records; verifies insurance coverage; assists clients and Case Managers with financial and insurance questions and issues; performs customer service duties.

Collects client payments, Input Substance Abuse Assessment Fees; reconciles client account; Posts payments and adjustments to consumer accounts.

Attends training for new system software; assists IT with development of new system software.

Processes and analyzes all consumer and third party charges and non-billable service data.

Generates consumer and third party billing, both paper claims and electronic claims for all HCS programs.

Communicates with insurance personnel, staff and consumers to resolve questions on consumer accounts, third party payments, insurance requirements, etc.

Analyzes and maintains all consumer accounts activity and accounts receivable reports.

Performs duties and other projects as assigned.
