Sales Representative Job 2024 Part Time

The Great History Challenge is a history competition for middle school (grades 6-8) students. We believe that by creating fun competitive experiences, we can show middle school students just how amazing they are!

THE GOAL

We are looking to hire someone to conduct short (10-15 minute) meetings with middle school social studies teachers, talk about their classes, and help them determine if the Great History Challenge is a good fit for their students.

ABOUT THE JOB

This is a part-time remote position playing a crucial (but limited) role in the sales process. Here’s what you’d be responsible for:

· Learn about the Great History Challenge and be able to answer teachers’ questions during calls (don’t worry, we’ll train you)

· Conduct video calls with teachers who schedule a call (this is cold calling)

· Be pleasant, professional, and helpful

· Document the call and send follow up emails as required

ABOUT YOU

· You have spent SOME time working in a school (teacher, student teacher, counselor, etc.)

· You LOVE education and LOVE talking with other teachers

· You believe in the power of telling a student that they are AWESOME at something

· You are outgoing, personable, and helpful

· You are curious and want to learn new skills

· You are punctual and take pride in your attention to detail

· Previous sales experience is a plus but not required

PAY/HOURS/ETC.

· You will set your own hours, but you basically will need to be available during the school day. This is not a nights and weekends job.

· Compensation is tied to the number of calls you take and the number of schools that you register for the competition, so the more you’re available, the more you will make.

· While there might be opportunities to transition into other full time salaried positions, this position is short-term (August-November).

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $150.00 – $250.00 per day
