Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Representative to join our team and help drive sales for Star Spangled Tea Company. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing relationships with clients. This role is commission-based, offering a 12-15% commission on all sales dependent on experience and past performance.
Duties
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting and reaching out to potential clients in the food and beverage industry, including cafes, restaurants, retail stores, and distributors.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by providing exceptional service and support.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the unique qualities of our tea products.
- Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and new products in the tea industry.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and customer feedback to the management team.
Skills
- Experience in sales desired but not required, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- An understanding of tea is a plus.
- Ability to travel within your designated territory to meet with clients or able to cold email and cold call clients in absence of travel.
