Position Overview:
The Senior Manager, K-12 Marketing, will oversee and manage marketing programs across all K-12 services. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional project management skills, the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and projects, and a strong background in content creation, digital marketing, and event management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management + Strategic Collaboration:
- Oversee and manage marketing programs across K-12 business units, documenting project scope, deliverables, goals, risks, blockers, success measures, and estimated resources needed.
- Ensure timely execution and delivery of projects, creating and managing standard operating procedures to maintain consistently high standards of quality and on-time project completion.
- Manage a range of external resources, including contractors, agencies, and vendors.
- Engage and collaborate with revenue teams, including sales, client success, and solutions, to design, plan, and execute demand generation, content, and event strategies.
- Work alongside sales partners to execute segmented marketing plans for prioritized territories and audiences.
- Develop and manage a data review system to track progress toward marketing goals.
- Analyze marketing programs and make data-driven recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency in achieving marketing objectives.
2. Website Management:
- Manage the website, including menu structure, website pages, landing pages, user experience, blog, workflows, and integrations.
- Regularly update and optimize the website to improve user engagement and conversion rates.
- Implement SEO and search optimization strategies to enhance organic search rankings and drive traffic.
- Ensure all web content is aligned with brand guidelines and marketing strategies.
3. Content, Asset Creation, and Design:
- Tailor clear, consistent, and compelling messages that engage distinct audience segments and differentiate us from competitors by:
o Highlighting our unique value proposition, capabilities, and industry leadership
o Leverage storytelling, an emotional appeal, and include a strong call to action
- Develop and manage the content calendar, coordinating with solution launches and social media and email calendars.
- Write compelling content for sales enablement materials, website pages, email campaigns, downloadable materials, blogs, and other marketing assets.
- Perform copywriting, outline creation, and develop content from scratch as needed.
- Ensure all content is engaging, informative, and aligned with marketing objectives.
- Oversee and coordinate the creation and maintenance of design assets with internal teams, outside vendors, and freelancers.
- Create visually appealing and on-brand marketing materials for marketing programs.
4. Email Marketing:
- Develop and execute email campaigns with compelling copy and effective CTAs tailored to segmented audiences to promote content, services, or events
- Monitor and analyze email marketing performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Continuously optimize email marketing strategies based on data insights and industry best practices.
5. Event Management:
- Plan and execute marketing events, including webinars, in-person events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Develop and manage event timelines and schedules to ensure all activities are executed on time, coordinating with internal and external teams as needed.
- Coordinate logistics, promotion, and follow-up activities to maximize event impact and ROI.
- Iterate on event design to create unique and engaging experiences for attendees.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in marketing management, particularly in the K-12 education sector.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing, and content creation.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Microsoft Excel, Trello).
- Proficiency in web management tools and CMS platforms (SEMRush, Hubspot, Salesforce)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
