Server/Cashier Job 2024 Part Time

Overview:

Responsibilities:
– Warmly greet and seat customers in a timely manner
– Take accurate customer orders and communicate them to the kitchen team
– Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring customer satisfaction
– Efficiently handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
– Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area
– Assist with food preparation and kitchen tasks when needed
– Offer menu recommendations, answer customer inquiries, and upsell additional items to boost sales
– Ensure compliance with food safety regulations

Skills:
– Prior experience in customer service, preferably in a restaurant or retail setting
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
– Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions
– Knowledge of food safety procedures is a plus
– Strong multitasking abilities and effective task prioritization
