Summary
Assists the Food and Beverage Coordinator in the day-to-day operation of the Food and Beverage Division at the Convention Center to include food orders, preparation, service, inventory, and maintenance. Must be available to work 25hrs per week and flexible hours to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Opens building, prepares food, serve food, set catering tables, and assist in setup and teardown and monitors assigned events.
- Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and concession stands.
- Complete all tasks assigned by the Food and Beverage Coordinator.
- Follows cash handling procedures and maintain accurate inventory of food products, alcohol and catering equipment.
- Interacts professionally with the public and customers per department customer service standards.
- Performs duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Two (2) years high school
Certificates, Licenses and Registration
- Food Handler’s Permit or ability to become certified within 30 days from date of hire
