Server Job Description

Duties:
– Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
– Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
– Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner
– Ensure guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
– Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and allergens
– Make recommendations and upsell menu items
– Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
– Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
– Make non-alcoholic beverages including teas, smoothies, juices
– Perform opening and closing server duties

Requirements:
– Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
– Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
– Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
– Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
– Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to follow sanitation procedures
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
