Hillsborough Vineyards & Brewery in Hillsboro, VA is looking for a few exceptional people to join our team. As a Tasting Room associate, you are responsible for providing the best possible experience to all of our Tasting Room guests by developing relationships that promote sales and brand loyalty. We are located at 36716 Charles Town Pike, just west of the town of Hillsboro. Our ideal candidate loves wine and beer, is self-driven and reliable with a great smile and diligent attention to detail. Part-time weekends.
Responsibilities

*Presenting our menu and helping customers select the proper wine, beer, and food *Conducting wine and beer tastings to groups of all sizes *Serving customers and managing payments and tabs *Promoting our Ruby Club to prospective new members *Staying current on each vintage of our wine and beer portfolio *Preparing and maintaining the tasting room and surrounding seating areas including routing light cleaning *Delivering stellar customer experience with a smile *Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace *Working effectively and efficiently in a team environment
Qualifications

*Ability to listen, learn, and communicate effectively *Must have a love of wine and/or craft beer *Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace *A great smile and attitude are a must *Previous experience at a winery or brewery is a plus
Training in both wine and beer production along with our portfolio of craft beverages will be provided.
Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $22.00 – $28.00/hour.
