Waitstaff Job 2024 Part Time

Position Purpose

Provide high level of service for various upscale events at Tuck Dining Services, i.e. buffet, plated dinners, receptions. $25.00/hr tipped rate in addition to base wage. Part-time temporary position; 15 weeks a year, pending program needs.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work well independently as well as with other waitstaff and work as a member of a team with a common goal.
• Ability to follow direction and adjust to last-minute changes.
• Ability to stand for long periods, and to lift and carry 20lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of wine and bartending skills.
• Prior waitstaff experience in an upscale environment.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide high level of customer service for various upscale, professional catered events i.e. buffets, plated dinners, receptions.
• Perform bar set-up and service.
• Assist catering team with set up, service and clean up of each catered event
