About the job:
Join our dynamic team as a Zuora Billing and Revenue Administrator. We’re in search of a seasoned professional to drive excellence in our Zuora platforms. As a pivotal member, you’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project requirements and objectives. You’ll play a central role in providing frontline support, troubleshooting issues, and crafting tailored solutions to meet evolving business needs. With your expertise, you’ll guide our team through configuration, customization, and maintenance of our Zuora application, positioning yourself as an internal subject matter expert. Additionally, you’ll spearhead change management processes, ensuring seamless transitions and keeping abreast of the latest system updates and integrations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and align project requirements and objectives with Zuora Billing and Revenue.
- Provide frontline support, leveraging your troubleshooting skills to diagnose, isolate, and resolve issues promptly.
- Design, implement, and maintain configurations and customizations of the Zuora application to effectively meet evolving business needs.
- Serve as an internal subject matter expert, offering guidance on best practices and leveraging your domain knowledge and prior experience.
- Drive optimal solutions, proactively identifying areas for improvement and proposing projects aimed at enhancing business operations.
- Ensure proper system access for user roles, meticulously upholding compliance with segregation of duties.
- Oversee change management and release processes for Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of system functionality, customization options, and integration possibilities, staying ahead of the curve in Zuora expertise.
About You:
- Comprehensive understanding of the entire billing cycle, encompassing Invoicing, Invoice Templates, Payment processing, Payment Gateway configuration, Revenue Recognition, Financial Reporting, and ERP system integration.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue administration and configuration, including navigating 3rd party integrations in complex environments.
- Proven expertise in supporting various Zuora Billing modules: Customers, Product Catalog, Subscriptions, Billing & Invoicing, Payments, and Taxes.
- Proficiency in Zuora Billing administration tasks such as managing user access, HTML/PDF templates, Custom fields, Notifications/email templates, data interface integrations, Workflows, and Reports.
- Familiarity with Payment Gateways, Country-Specific requirements, Refund processes, Chargeback procedures, Cancellation workflows, and Network Tokenization.
- Experience working in Zuora sandbox environments, including successful deployment across multiple settings.
- Previous involvement in integrating ZBilling and ZRevenue via the connector, with a solid understanding of ZBilling schema and Data Query usage.
- A strong grasp of the quote-to-cash (Q2C) business process, demonstrating the ability to navigate complexities and drive efficiency.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Zuora Administration and Billing Certification.
- Proficiency in working with Zuora APIs, leveraging them to enhance system capabilities.
- Prior engagement in ZBilling implementations, showcasing your ability to drive successful outcomes.
- Familiarity with Vertex or similar tax engines, enhancing your versatility in addressing diverse business needs.
